New barn quilt on Schultz farmette

This beautiful barn quilt can be seen on the farmette owned by former congressman Dale Schultz near Hill Point. His wife, Rachel, gave it to Dale as a gift and he picked out the eight colors as seen in this pattern. They are the colors that can be found on pheasants, as they are released on their land. Committee artist Lisa Evert was chosen to paint this for the family and as always, she does an exceptional job with her incredible talent. Ten years ago the Sauk County Barn Quilt Committee was conceived by the Sauk Prairie FFA Alumni. Each quilt is to stay on each barn for at least ten years so the quilt routes can grow and be enjoyed by many as an agriculture tourism event.
