Former Mazo resident arrested at Kwik Trip

A Reedsburg man has been arrested after passing out in the Kwik Trip in Sauk City.

On June 15 around 7 p.m., officers located Travis Stoltz, 35, in the bathroom. He was alert when the officers spoke with him, and was walked out to the officer’s car. He then fled and was caught a short time later.

Stoltz initially provided officers with a fake name. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. Stoltz was charged with: possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of resisting an officer.

Stoltz has a criminal record stretching back to 2000. He has been convicted of domestic abuse-strangulation, battery, operating while intoxicated, resisting arrest, burglary, theft, and possession of THC.

Stoltz’s previous residence was in Mazomanie Township.
