The last Book Nook review was of a science fiction novel and I noted that for some, science was their least favorite subject in school. Quite the reverse is true for the focus of today’s book: “Galileo’s Daughter” by Dava Sobel. Galileo Galilei made so many major contributions that Albert Einstein dubbed him “the father of modern physics – indeed of modern science altogether”.
