Girls soccer team falls to Warriors

WAUNAKEE - There were plenty of tears when the Sauk Prairie girls' soccer team left the pitch last Thursday night, the Eagles' dreams of a conference title dashed by the host Waunakee Warriors.

Waunakee got two goals and an assist from senior forward Sarah McLaughlin to post a 3-0 shutout of the visiting Eagles.

"It wasn't the outcome we wanted, but it's also not the end," Sauk Prairie senior forward Cam Ballweg said. "It's a tough loss to swallow, but we have to move on."
