Dr. McAuliffe talks to 6:8 men's group

On May 5 the 6:8 Men's Community held its monthly meeting at the 6:8 building located at 821 Industry Road, Sauk City. The 6:8 Men's Community is a group designed to bring Men together once a month for fellowship, food, and friendship. Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month with the doors opening at 3:45 p.m. for snacks and fellowship. Dinner is served at 4:30 p.m. followed by a short program and guest speaker starting at 5:30 p.m. There is no charge for the meal and men of all ages are encouraged to attend. At the May meeting the men were treated to a presentation by Dr. John McAuliffe from Sauk Prairie Health Care as well as a short testimonial from Dan Kobussen. Dr. McAuliffe spoke about drug addiction and general wellness. One of his keys to recovery was making connections with other people which is what the 6:8 Men's Community is all about. The next 6:8 Men's Community meeting will be held on June 2nd featuring a presentation by Bill Bishop from the Sauk Prairie Healthcare. The doors will open at 3:45 and dinner will be served at 4:30.
