Koeck is new SP Municipal judge

Rick Koeck was recently sworn in as Sauk Prairie Municipal Court's judge. Koeck takes over the judgeship after being elected on April 2, 2019. In December 2018, former Judge Dwight Pulsfus decided he would not seek an additional term on the bench. Pulsfus served as the joint municipal court's first judge for fifteen years prior to his death on March 31, 2019. Koeck graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. He was awarded his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1979. Koeck has practiced law in the Sauk Prairie area. Koeck's four year term began on May 1, 2019. The Sauk Prairie Municipal Court handles municipal ordinance and civil traffic violations for the Villages of Prairie du Sac and Sauk City and the Town of Roxbury.
