On April 25th, 14 talented sixth graders from Sauk Prairie Middle School had the opportunity to participate in the Central Wisconsin TAG Creative Arts Festival.  They enjoyed taking part in activities that ranged from drawing monsters to flower arranging, and even learning to play a couple of tunes on the guitar. Other activities included metal tooling, perspective drawing, creating fashion from t-shirts, basket making, and many other creative endeavors. In addition, there was the excitement of getting to know students from the many other school districts who attended the festival, which included Wautoma, Amherst, Wisconsin Dells, Baraboo, Adams-Friendship, Poynette, Portage, and Reedsburg. Julie Breunig, Gifted and Talented Specialist for Sauk Prairie Schools, and Kathy Bruno chaperoned the students.  Marie Yarnell and Erin Fischer, art teachers in Sauk Prairie Schools, presented workshops for the students.
