Heights baseball team playing well

Ethan Cribbs and Wisconsin Heights' baseball team have started the year 6-2.

Wisconsin Heights' baseball team is off to a strong start this season, racing to a 6-2 mark.

And the Vanguards split a pair of games last week.

Heights fell at Richland Center, 3-2, on April 15. The Vanguards then defeated host Marshall, 6-4, on April 16.

In Heights' loss to Richland Center, Ethan Cribbs had both RBI. Clay Caminiti went 2-for-3 from the plate, while Dane Louis and Cribbs both had hits, as well.

Payton Flamme threw five innings and took the loss. Flamme allowed three runs, two earned, three hits, two walks and struck out five.

Louis threw the final two innings.
