Eagles' girls soccer team off to flying start

Sauk Prairie races to 3-0 start

Camryn Ballweg (6) and Sauk Prairie's girls soccer team are off to a 3-0 start and have outscored their fors, 25-0.

It took just over 12 minutes to unleash Sauk Prairie's potent offense last week.

Freshman forward Katelyn Fishnick scored two goals in a span of 2 minutes, 15 seconds and the rest of her teammates took it from there as Sauk Prairie routed visiting Stoughton 10-0 in a Badger Conference crossover soccer dual on April 9.

"That definitely started off the momentum, getting back-to-back goals like that always helps," Sauk Prairie senior forward Cam Ballweg said of Fishnick's early offense. "It brings the energy up."
