Sauk Prairie soccer opens with a bang

Camryn Ballweg (left) and Sauk Prairie's girls soccer team notched a pair of impressive wins last week.

After just one week of the new girls soccer season, it might be time for Sauk Prairie head coach Mike Rauls to check the Eagles' record books.

Sauk Prairie opened its season with a bang with a 5-0 victory over visiting Dodgeville on April 2. The Eagles then cruised to an impressive 10-0 shutout of host Milton last Thursday.

Freshman forward Katelyn Fishnick also established what is believed to be a school-record for goals in a game with six in the victory over Milton according to Rauls.
