Olivia Breunig and Sauk Prairie's girls softball team is 2-2 after four games this season.

The rollercoaster ride for the youthful Sauk Prairie softball team continued last week with one certainty.

The Eagles' games this season will be far from boring.

Sauk Prairie opened the week with a thrilling 19-13 victory over visiting Reedsburg in a Badger North Conference matchup on a cold and bitter April 2 spring afternoon. The game featured a combined 33 hits, including six for extra bases, 13 walks and nine errors.

Two days later, Sauk Prairie traveled to DeForest and was dealt a 21-3 shellacking by the host Norskies in a game that was called in the fifth inning by the mercy rule.
