Mazomanie village property values rise $1.1 million, FEMA deadline met

The village board of Mazomanie met at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 26 in its second scheduled meeting of the month. The board president, Gary Harrop, opened up with the President’ Report, requesting village clerk Sue Dietzen to give a report on the 2019 assessed valuation prepared by Associated Appraisal, the assessment firm retained by the village to evaluate the value of village residences.

In comparing the assessment roles from 2019 against the 2018 roles, Dietzen found an overall growth in total village property values, with a gross valuation increase of $1.3 million, but with a deduct...
