The Wisconsin Heights Optimist Club from Mazomanie and Black Earth had the people from "Project Recovery" speak at our March 15th meeting. Project Recovery is a service made possible through partnerships between the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the Wisconsin Farm Center, Department of Ag, Trade and Consumer Protection, WISCAP and Couleecap. Project Recovery is a community-based program providing outreach, crisis counseling, and support to communities impacted by severe storms, flooding, land-slides, straight-line winds, and tornadoes in the summer of 2018. This service is provided for 1 year after a disaster strikes. Community members seeing people in need (or themselves) can simply contact Jane Gaffney toll free @ 1 844 260 7029 or 608 632 3272 or Kim Mindham @ 608 632 7212. Confidentially is utmost. E-mail or for more information.
