The Village of Prairie du Sac meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall.

The Village of Sauk City meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall. If there are five Tuesdays in month, it meets the fifth week.

The Sauk Prairie Police Commission meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

The Ruth Culver Community Library Board meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6 :30 p.m.

The Village of Merrimac meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.

The Town of Prairie du Sac meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.

The Town of Roxbury meets the first and hird Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

The Town of Merrimac meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.

The Sauk Prairie School Board meets the 2nd and fourth Mondays of the month at 7 p.m.

The Sauk City Library Board meets the second Monday of the month at the Sauk City Library, 515 Water Street, 7 p.m.

The Happy Hustlers 4-H Club meet the first Sunday of the month, Plain Library, 2 p.m.

The Active Strivers 4-H club meet the first Tuesday of the month, 6:30 p.m., Tower Rock School.

The Sauk Prairie Earthlings 4-H Club meet the second Monday of the month at GraceWay Church, 1375 Lincoln Ave., 5:30 p.m.

The Sauk Prairie Lions Club meets the third Wednesday of the month at the Dorf Haus, 7 p.m.

The Local Alzheimer & Dementia support group meets the fourth Wednesday of the month, 3-4:30 p.m., at Maplewood. Call Theresa Grimes, 643-3383, if you have any questions.

Prairie Busy Badgers 4-H Club meet the first Monday of the month, Sauk Prairie Public Library, 6:30 p.m.

Sauk Prairie Sewing and Quilting Friends meets the second Thursday of the month at the Ruth Culver Library, 1:00 p.m.

Sauk Prairie Community Club, meets the first Tuesday or Wednesday of each month, see saukprairiecommunityclub.weebly.com/meetingsevents.html for time, day, and location.

The Sauk Prairie Optimist Club meets at the following times: 1st week of the month: Wednesday, noon; 2nd week of the month: Wednesday, 7 a.m .; 3rd week of the month: Wednesday 7 a.m .; 4th week of the month: Wednesday, 7 a.m.

6:8’s Community Meal, open to the public. Free of charge. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, 5-7 p.m. Located at 821 Industry Rd. Sauk City.

This coincides with the Food Pantry’s Distribution on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Sample food prepared with produce from 6:8’s Community Garden when it is in season.

CESA 5 Board of Control Meeting

At CESA 5, 626 East Slifer Street, Portage.

Come to the Sauk Prairie Optimist Club Spaghetti Supper on April 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

It is being held in memory of Denman Kramer. “We will miss your smile, balloon man.” Everyone is welcome.

The dinner will be at the Community Center in Sauk City. It will be catered by Riviera Bowl and include homemade desserts by Optimist members.

“Don’t Be Upset. Come Eat Some Spaghetti.”

Night of Hope, benefiting Sauk Prairie Against Hunger, will be held at the 6:8 building this year, on Friday April 26 at 6 p.m.

6:8 is located at 821 Industry Road in the Sauk City Industrial Park. Money raised at this event will help to cover the cost of the ingredients we use at our Pack Event, which will be held on Oct. 24-26 at Grand Avenue School.

Our Night of Hope activities will include a cook-off of soups, breads and desserts. We will have a live auction, as well as many silent auction items. Beverages will be available with a cash bar.

Sauk Prairie Hospital help you safely dispose of your old medication on Free Medication Take Back Day, on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Just combine any unneeded vitamins, herbals, prescription or over-the-counter medications into a zip-lock baggie and drop them off for safe disposal. It’s that easy! Please keep liquids in their original container. Sharps containers will be available upon request for used needles/lancets.
