Vermont Lutheran Church provides cabin fever relief

February 28, 2019

Everyone is invited to Vermont Lutheran Church at 7 p.m., Sunday March 10th for a fun and informative presentation Cabin Fever Reliever. Popcorn and refreshments will be provided.

As residents of this beautiful piece of God’s creation, we know there are many valuable natural resources, a rich history and interesting cultural heritage that make our home unique. These assets also produce an interesting opportunity.

In partnership with the Villages of Cross Plains, Black Earth and Mazomanie, the Wisconsin Heights School District, the local Chambers of Commerce, and other nonprofit mission organizations, GTTD was created to promote smart economic growth in northwestern Dane County sustained by our area’s wealth of outdoor recreation and abundant natural resources.

GTTD Executive Director Chris Long will provide insight into the kinds of projects GTTD envisions, such as completion of a multi-use year-round trail from Middleton to Sauk City, and the work already accomplished, such as coordination of the restoration of the Wolf Run Trail after the flood damage and creation of an interactive website: https://gatewaytothedriftless.com

Vermont Church is located midway between Black Earth and Mount Horeb just west of highway 78 on Vermont Church Road and is handicapped accessible.
