Sauk County Sheriffs to get new vehicles, county to see 911 upgrades

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office will receive some new vehicles following a vote by the County Board.

The request was unanimously approved during the Jan. 15 board meeting. It calls for eight 2019 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles and one 2020 model for an after-trade-in cost of $219,500 as well as a 2019 Ford F150 for $21,962 after trade in, a 2018 Ford Explorer for $27,941 after trade in and a 2019 Dodge Caravan for $25,982 after trade in.

All purchases were expected and budgeted for this year.
