Eagles' hockey team bounces back

Sauk Prairie tops Beavers after loss one night earlier

Following a Badger North Conference loss to Beaver Dam last Friday night, Sauk Prairie co-op boys hockey coach David Lohrei was perplexed with the play of the Eagles on their home ice.

Fast forward to Saturday evening, it was a different Sauk Prairie co-op squad that skated to a 6-1 victory over the host Golden Beavers at the Beaver Dam Family Center.

Behind the four-goal performance of junior forward Riley Jelinek and the stellar job in the nets for junior goaltender Levi Carr, the Eagles (7-5-0 overall, 3-3-0 Badger North) looked like a totally different team according to Lohrei.
