Helping Birds Survive the Winter

Some years, wild birds need your help finding food in November and December because of the snow and cold. This year has been different with little snow and relatively moderate temperatures which have allowed birds to still feed on the abundant natural feed in the wild. Many of the wild birds that we have much of the year in the bottom third of Wisconsin have migrated to warmer climates. But, there are numerous birds that stay here year-round.
