Carly Kinnamon is the Sauk Prairie Optimist's Middle Level Leader for December. She is an 8th grader and the son of Scott and Christine Kinnamon. Carly was nominated by the Art Department. Art teacher, Mr. Rossbach had this to say about Carly: "Carly's spirit is unshakable! She is a hard worker and an inspiration to those around her. She is very active in show choir and brings that verve to the classroom. I know that when Carly is around there is joy to be had. With all that the world is dealing with now, joy and smiles from students make the day that much better and give me great hope for the future. She encourages students who are struggling and shares her enthusiasm helping them to work through their issues. Carly is a wonderfully talented, strong, young lady and I can't wait to see what amazing things she will do in the future!" At the Middle School Carly is involved with the Musical, Show Choir, Chess Club, Student Council, GSA Club and is a Sixth Grade Mentor. Outside of school she likes to write and take photos. In the future, Carly would like to be a teacher and pursue her love of music.
