6:8 has successful year

6:8 capped off a successful year in 2018.

On July 8 (6/8), the organization celebrated its 8th birthday, as well as the grand opening of its new building. Since opening the building, 6:8 volunteers have averaged over 37.5 hours per day volunteering.

In 2018 alone, 6:8 logged 8,100 volunteer hours. It hosted 12 high schoolers on a mini mission trip, and took 26 high schoolers on a mission trip to Missouri.

2,243 meals were provided at community meals, on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. 2,008 pounds of produce was harvested from their garden.
