Heights boys win, then lose

Clay Caminiti and Wisconsin Heights' boys basketball team split a pair of games last week.

The Wisconsin Heights boys basketball team split a pair of games last week.

The Vanguards rolled past visiting River Valley, 77-50, last Tuesday. Columbus then edged Heights, 56-54, last Thursday.

The Vanguards are now 5-3 overall.

In Heights' win over River Valley, Cam Brown had 21 points and Shravan Parman added 20. Both Clayton Caminiti and De'Shawn Barsness had 13 points.

Heights built a 38-25 halftime lead then continued to pour it on in the second half.

In the Vanguards' loss to the Cardinals, Parman had 14 points, while Caminiti had 11 and De'Shawn Barsness added 10.
