Vermont Township voters to have a say on ATVs on roads

Although the specific wording of the question has yet to be finalized, the Vermont board of supervisors will ask the town voters in April 2019 to weigh in on if certain all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) should be allowed to operate on town roads.

For several months, the supervisors have discussed options and concerns related to allowing the new traffic, including noise concerns, economic opportunities, an increased number of vehicles on roads and the potential for nuisances.
