Milwaukee Valve is finalist for 'Aircraft Carrier Town USA' contest, voting starts online November 19

Milwaukee Valve is a finalist for the first-ever Aircraft Carrier Town USA contest. This competition is designed to honor the hard-working American communities that have a passion for and commitment to the U.S. Navy, including those who build aircraft carriers and serve our nation. Located in Sauk-Prairie, adjacent to the Wisconsin River, Milwaukee Valve supplies crucial parts and valves for new construction of aircraft carriers. With the grant, Milwaukee Valve would put the $2,500 toward vocational programs at the Sauk-Prairie High School in Milwaukee. The supplier partners with the high school to bring students in to educate them on many facets of manufacturing - from Research & Development to Product Engineering. How to get involved: Post a photo on social media using the hashtag #ProudCarrierTown showcasing your pride and passion for our nation's U.S. Navy aircraft carrier suppliers; If you currently reside in one of these towns, show why your town deserves the title and honor of Aircraft Carrier Town USA 2018; Even if you don't reside in one of these towns, you can use the hashtag #ProudCarrierTown to show your support during National U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier Month.
