At left, Steven Thimling dressed as a fur trader for Pioneer Days. Items included hides, including a coyote hide, as well as a musket and items for trade. Porcupine quills featured prominently in trade items, stitched in to provide color. Thimling also had Firestarter kits and a comfortable chair for a road-weary trader to relax in.
