For the color RED and Fire Safety month, the Ruth Culver Community Library had a Field Trip Storytime today, Thursday, October 4. We traveled to the Prairie du Sac Fire Station. Over eighty children and their adults got to see and sit in the fire trucks, see Fireman Tanner put on his uniform in under two minutes, get a goody bag of Fire Safety treats and have Storytime! Fun was had by all and the library would like to thank Firefighters Scott Ballweg and Tanner Liester for their informative and fun time at the fire station. If you missed it, hope you get to the Station's Open House. Also hope you join us back at the library as we explore more colors through October and November Storytimes! --Beth Hayes, Youth Services, Ruth Culver Community Library Above right: Fireman Scott Ballweg explains what clothes the firefighters wear and Firefighter Tanner Liester putting them on in front of the families.
