Eagles' football team drilled by Baraboo

Sauk Prairie was without injured starting junior inside linebacker Dayton Goette when the Eagles lined up on defense to open their rivalry game at Baraboo last Friday night.

When junior Brooks Leister — the Eagles’ other starting inside linebacker — soon joined Goette on the sidelines with a season-ending dislocated elbow, the Eagles took another major hit they could never recover from.

Senior running back Mike Wech rank for 303 yards in 29 carries and scored five touchdowns to power Baraboo to a 34-7 victory over visiting Sauk Prairie in a Badger North Conference prep football game l...
