Carlson crafts birdhouses

Lloyd Carlson, of rural Prairie du Sac, is well known in the Sauk Prairie community as a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts, youth, and outdoor activities. 60 years ago he dedicated many acres of his farm land to create Camp Carlson, a camp to be used by the Boy Scouts, locally and regionally, and for other youth organizations such as Kids Junction, a Middleton area summer day camp. He does not charge for the use but gives the experience of the camp and nature to youth for free.
