Mazo makes headway on Lake Marion project

After sinking years of effort and hundreds of thousands of dollars into the restoration of Lake Marion, the Village of Mazomanie has turned its attention to a small furry pest that could potentially undo everything: the muskrat.

Muskrats are an aquatic rodent that dig their burrows around a lake's edge, damaging the structural integrity of the lakebed and sometimes redirecting the flow of the water.
