Watch fireworks from the river

June 28, 2018

The John Dally/Ann Vetter family (FLOW members) started an annual tradition when their children were young of watching the Sauk Prairie fireworks from their canoe and doing a quiet, moonlight guided river float home. Over the years, other friends and family have joined them making it a bigger and more festive yearly event.

The event will be held Saturday, July 7-8th, 2018. The Dally/Vetter’s house is located at 10542 Laws Drive, Mazomanie. The campsite will be on a sandbar about a 3-hour float down the Lower Wisconsin River from the Hwy 12 bridge in Sauk City. Please RSVP at: 608-575-0325.

Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway (FLOW),, will assist by helping line up a group rate for canoe and kayak rentals and shuttle. FLOW will also provide a motorized safety boat to keep an eye on the paddlers.
