Aircraft Emergency Response training held at Sauk Prairie Airport

Randy Adams, Textron Aviation Field Service Engineer, explains features of a Cessna Citation V aircraft to Sauk Prairie first responders during an Aircraft Emergency Response training event at the Sauk Prairie Airport on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Adams was assisted by Federal Aviation Administration representatives Paul Sweeney, AW Frontline Manager, and Jurg Grossenbacher, FAAST Team Program Manager, who offered technical information for first responders to an aircraft emergency using a detailed powerpoint presentation as well as hands on training for the Citation V.

An Aircraft Emergency Response training event was held at Sauk Prairie airport on June 19th. Agencies in attendance included Sauk Prairie Ambulance Association, Sauk City Fire Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, and the Sauk County Sheriff's Department.  Presenters included representatives from UW Med Flight, Textron Aviation, and the Federal Aviation Administration.  Dozens of attendees received hands on and PowerPoint training for safely responding to an aircraft emergency.
