CoffeeWith a Cop

May 10, 2018

Coffee with a Cop May 10 Last month's Coffee with a Cop event had a high turn-out. Wisconsin Heights School District superintendent Jordan Sinz spoke to the crowd regarding the upcoming community conversation, "Vanguard Vision: Reaching New Heights." The group also had community deputies Brooke Gagner and Scott Herrem show and discuss the equipment used for the Care Trac program. There are over 70 clients in Dane County, the majority are either diagnosed with Dementia or are on the Autism Spectrum, that wear a bracelet that can be tracked by trained deputies should they wander from home or their care giver. The next Coffee with a Cop event will be held on Thursday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Village of Black Earth Municipal Building located at 1210 Mills Street.   Come out and join your neighbors and local police officers for coffee and conversation. There are no agendas or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the deputies in your village.
