Students celebrated “Read Across America Week” at Black Earth Elementary Feb. 26-March 2. Monday was “Fox in Socks Day” and students wore mismatched socks and wrote rhymes.  Tuesday was pajama day and “Stop, Drop and Read.” Wednesday guest readers from the community came in to read, “I Can Read with my Eyes Shut,” and the kids wore cool glasses to school.  On Thursday, “The Cat in the Hat” made an appearance and read to students. It was a fun week to celebrate reading and Dr. Seuss’ birthday!
