Catching trout on Devil's Lake

There are not many lakes in Wisconsin or the Midwest where you can catch trout through the ice in the winter. However, Devil’s Lake in Sauk County is one where you can catch your trout (limit 3) and also have a chance to catch northern pike, an occasional walleye, both kind of bass, and panfish, all in a beautiful 369-acre lake surrounded by Devil’s Lake State Park. The park is where the glaciers stopped and formed the beautiful bluffs that surround Devil’s Lake.
