Ally Silvestri and Middleton's girls swimming team rolled past Janesville Parker last Tuesday.

Middleton's girls swimming and diving team rolled past Janesville Parker/Evansville, 139-31, last Tuesday.

"This was our third meet in five days, so the girls were understandably exhausted," Middleton coach Lauren Cabalka said. "We had some adrenaline coming off of a pretty solid weekend, but were also still recovering from a week of illness. We gave the girls a break from their traditional events and mixed up our relay teams a bit, which was fun."

The Cardinals won all three relay events. Middleton also dominated the individual races, as well.

Bella Chirafisi (2:01), Kaitlyn Peters (2:08) and Anna Thomley (2:09) went 1-2-3 in the 200-meter freestyle. Madelyn Lawn (2:21), Grace Madigan (2:22) and Sarah Foley (2:26) captured the top three spots in the 200-meter individual medley.

Caroline Hippen (25.53), Emily Keebler (26.50) and Alexis Barrett (27.18) went 1-2-3 in the 50-meter freestyle. Ally Sylvestri (1:03) and Berkley Smith (1:05) were first and second, respectively, in the 100-meter butterfly.

Makenna Licking (55.87), Nicole McCue (58.64) and Alex Anagnostopoulos (59.86) captured the top three spots in the 100-meter freestyle. Emma Gibson (6:16) and Brianna Acker (6:25) were first and second in the 500-meter freestyle.

Hannah Aegeter won the 100-meter backstroke (1:00), while Anagnostopoulos was second (1:07) and Amaya Berge was third (1:08). Cora Mack won the 100-meter breaststroke (1:15.54), while Chirafisi was second (1:15.77) and Chiara Pierobon Mays (was third) 1:18.

"I thought the girls did a nice job of putting forth effort into their races and hanging in there on a Tuesday night," Cabalka said. "We have a 10-day break before our relay invite, which is always a highlight of the season. Hopefully we will be fully recovered by then and ready to have some fun with some different races."

• On deck: Middleton hosts Madison La Follette Thursday at 5 p.m., then hosts the Middleton Invitational Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
