Village of Black Earth needs new board member after Schultz resigns

Suggestions sought for what should replace the merry-go-round in Veteran’s Park

At their monthly board meeting, the Village of Black Earth trustees sent up a plea to the public for their involvement as recently elected Patrick Schultz resigned due to added commitments within his position as a United Methodist pastor serving in Madison. The board is actively seeking a replacement. “New people being involved never hurts,” explained board member Pam Louis-Reindl. “We need more help and need someone to step up.” Schultz’s term expires in 2019, and if you’re interested in taking over his position, you can email village president Pat Troge at patt@blackearthwisco...
