Seven Heights soccer players earn honors

Adler's named first-team all-league

Samantha Bollig (18) was named second-team all-Southern Capitol Conference.

The Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld girls soccer team had a historic year, qualifying for state for the first time in program history.

And the Vanguards were justly rewarded when it came to postseason awards.

WH/B had eight players earn all-conference honors.

Senior midfielder Karlee Adler and sophomore defender Ashlee Adler were both named first-team all-conference. Sophomore forward Kelsi Handel, senior midfielder Samantha Bollig and senior keeper Destinee Schmidt were all named second-team all-conference.

And sophomore forward Kassidy Frame, freshman defender Hana King and freshman defender...
