Eagles' girls soccer team getting their kicks

Sauk Prairie's girls soccer team won the Waupaca Invite last weekend.

The weather has been nasty this spring.

But Sauk Prairie's girls' soccer team hasn't let anything deter it from having a tremendous season.

Behind the one-two scoring punch of sophomores Kelsey Selden and Ella Schad and a stellar defensive effort, Sauk Prairie won the 23rd annual Waupaca Comet Varsity Invitational last Saturday. The Eagles extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games and won their second tournament of the season.

Sauk Prairie also rallied to tie Watertown, 2-2, in a Badger Conference crossover game last week. The Eagles (11-2-1, 4-0 Badger North) haven't lost since a 1-0 defe...
