Sue and Fritz Dohm will begin their 12th year managing/growing for the Sauk Prairie Farmers Market on May 19th, in Prairie du Sac across from the Blue Spoon Cafe.  They are honored to be providing this service of bringing fresh locally grown produce to the folks of Sauk Prairie. Fresh baked goods will also be at market this year. Hours will be 9 a.m.-noon, Saturdays until October. During the season they and their vendors will have about 50 different types of fresh locally grown produce, from asparagus to watermelon. John Joseph Coffee will return with their fair trade organic coffee beans, and, this year there will also be baked goods, including some gluten free, and homemade body lotions and other body products.  Kit and Orie Eilertson, charter vendors,  will be back with their plants, herbs, jams and produce.  The Dohms have gardened for decades and became Master Gardeners years ago.  Opening a farmers market seemed like a good way to give back to the community that has given them so much over the years. They are honored to be providing this service of bringing fresh locally grown produce to the folks of Sauk Prairie. They are grateful for the opportunity to support the local food pantry with their produce sales these past years and they sincerely appreciate the support from their loyal patrons over the years. For updates, see their Sauk Prairie Farmer Market Facebook page.
