Mark 9:2-9

Remembering things is important to us as humans. Memories are often what define us as who we are, and we do what we can to preserve them. In the gospel of Mark we read about an extraordinary moment experienced by Peter, James and John when Jesus was transfigured before them.

It was literally a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the three disciples. And Peter, like all of us, wanted to do something to preserve the moment, so he proposed building a booth or kiosk or shrine - whatever - to preserve the moment...
